LATIN FUSION CONCERT SERIES KICKS OFF NOVEMBER 18
First Concert Features Popular Reggaeton Performers Including Nina Sky

SARASOTA, FL – The Latin Fusion Concert Series, presented by Nuevo Advertising Group in conjunction with the Sarasota Bradenton International Convention Center, launches with its first two-night concert series on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. Concerts will be held at the Convention Center located at 8005 15th Street East (behind the airport on Old 301), Sarasota.

The Latin Fusion Concert Series will be an ongoing event with concerts – all to be held at the Convention Center – featuring a different genre of music each month. The November concert showcases reggaeton music, an innovative and dynamic form of dance music that blends the Jamaican music influences of reggae and dancehall with those of Latin America, such as bomba and plena. Reggaeton has recently become an international movement with the help of New York’s Latino community.

November 18 finds reggaeton sensations Nina Sky (Billboard Monitor Dance Chart #1 with “Move Ya Body,” July 28, 2004) and Pitbull (breakout single “Oye” featured on the “2 Fast 2 Furious” soundtrack) taking the stage. November 19 features Glory (currently nine weeks on reggaetonline’s top 20 chart) and Wisin y Yandel (performing at the Megaton 2005 reggaeton concert at Madison Square Garden November 25). DJ Willie and DJ Casper (creator of the “Cha Cha Slide”) will preceed the headliners each night.

In addition to the music and dancing on the area’s largest dance floor, a raffle will be held for a fully-loaded 2001 Ford Escape, valued at $12,500. One chance comes with each ticket purchase and additional chances may be obtained for a $1.00 donation. Concert-goers can also shop La Tienda, where local artisans will have Latin crafts of all kinds available for purchase.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. each night; the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets cost $20 per night in advance or $35 for a two-night pass. For tickets or more information, stop by the Convention Center box office or call 800-355-9161 Monday through Friday between 2:00 and 7:00 p.m., or visit www.latinfusionconcerts.com.

The next concert is scheduled for December 16 and 17.
