SARASOTA, FL – The Florida State Fair Authority (FSFA) will unveil the new LA PLAZA Hispanic Village at the Florida State Fair in February 2008, and Nuevo Advertising Group has been hired to create a targeted Hispanic marketing campaign to build brand awareness and recognition for the 2008 Florida State Fair.
The Hispanic Village will offer authentic food from various Hispanic countries, shopping, live entertainment and other cultural activities representing the Latino community. “We realize there is a huge segment of our audience that enjoys Hispanic food and entertainment. This new area will enhance the Fair experience and bring awareness of Spanish culture to the nearly 500,000 people that visit the state fair each year in Tampa,” remarked Charles Pesano, executive director of the Florida State Fair Authority. The FSFA’s intention is to grow this area into an international marketplace featuring many cultures over the next few years.
Nuevo Advertising’s work for FSFA, in addition to naming and marketing LA PLAZA, also includes translating vendor and exhibitor applications, some website translation, and culturalizing public relations materials.
Nuevo Advertising Group’s focus is on bridging the gap between businesses and the Hispanic community through concise advertising messages delivered through the most effective mediums. For more information, visit www.nuevoadvertising.com or call 941-752-4433.
